The Sampson Grate has optional sections that can be added. Each section is self supporting and will increase the width of the grate by 7". These grates work very well in conjunction with firebacks and their boots.

Self feeding. Its deeply curved shape lowers burning logs to the grate bottom, rather than letting them tumble out onto the hearth. This eliminates a possible fire hazard, thus the name Safety Grate. 23 3/4" front X 18" back X 15" deep, leg height 2 1/4"
